My Story

I'm Lisa. I'm a certified holistic health coach and have a background as a qualified nurse with experience in hospital and at-home patient care in Germany. My interest in the environment and our human interaction with the earth has built the foundation of my geography degree and greatly influenced my perspective on the world.  But within time I've realized that I wholeheartedly belong to the health sector. I've got a deep interest in all sorts of health-related topics, but my passion lies in nutrition. For me, food is the source of - everything. Of life itself, of personal wellbeing, sociability, connection & joy. And that's what drives me deeply. 

Apart from food, I draw my energy from nature, long beach walks, yoga, and good conversations with friends and family. And if it weren't for my passion for travelling, I wouldn't be living in Australia now. I came with the idea of getting some fresh air from my daily life, and what I discovered was a deeper understanding of myself and a huge appreciation for the land and the people in the country. I now live with my partner in Agnes Water, a small community on the QLD coastline. As my connection to Germany is still deeply rooted, I'm so grateful to feel the strong impact of the two cultures within. 

By qualifying as a holistic health coach, I have fulfilled a long-held dream. For me, there is nothing more sustainable than investing in our own health and making sure we nourish ourselves with the most yummy and healthy food we can possibly get. And I would love you to be part of it.

My Philosophy

Food is so much more than fuel. It is nourishment, pleasure, comfort, and connection. It supports every function of the body - allowing us to breathe, move, think, and feel - while also bringing people together and creating meaningful moments. Food deserves our attention, not through stress or restriction, but through appreciation and care. 

 

My passion for food began early, inspired by my mother and grandmother, who loved cooking and growing their own produce. Some of my fondest memories are of simple, beautiful meals made from ingredients freshly picked from the garden - meals shared around the table that left everyone nourished, content and smiling. Those experiences shaped the way I see food today: not just as nutrition, but as something deeply human and joyful. 

 

I do not believe in a specific diet suitable for everyone or unrealistic routines. Instead, I offer practical and personalised guidance that fits into your everyday life. My aim is to help you build food habits that feel good, are sustainable, and truly support your wellbeing. 

 

Healthy eating does not need to be complicated or overwhelming. It can be simple, delicious, and enjoyable. I provide you with the tools and support to make nourishing choices, build confidence and to reconnect with the joy of eating and preparing food.  

Personally, I follow a predominantly plant-based approach wile enjoying balance and flexibility. I value fresh, high-quality and minimally processed ingredients while I believe that the 'how' of eating are just as important - Taking time, creating a calm atmosphere, and making meals a moment of care for ourselves and our loved ones.
